Question

If I bought a Galaxy Tab S3 I could then text people from it's own unique number not having to be paired with my cell phone?  Did I just waste $600.

My intention is to be able to text my automotive customers updates on their vehicles etc?

No current tablet has the functionality to send and receive text messages natively from the number assigned to the tablet.
