I've switched from AT&T to Verizon cause not only is it faster, but it also has the latest devices from Google. I'm paying my hard earned cash to Verizon expecting a top of the line experience. I want to be able to say I'm a proud Verizon Subscriber, but right now I cant do that. Right now, my carrier is the last to get the Jelly Bean Update to my Galaxy Nexus. Verizon is behind even the most crap carrier, Sprint. Tell me why we are behind Sprint of all carriers? Give me my JB update and let Google deal with any software bugs, to hell with your own tests on the update.

I demand to be told why we are waiting. Not the same BS about" it's not our choice, google determined the update" LIE!!!! google has released the update, Samsung says it's not them, its VZW. I think we deserve an answer, or 2 months credit!

I am always disturbed to see this reaction. Each time there is a software release, the reaction to the delay is always greater than what is merited from the issue itself. In all honesty, I highly doubt that VZW experiences joy to give customers another reason to call in and yell at their reps or in reading the dozens of absurd reactions on their support pages. If it is being delayed, it is likely due to a very valid reason. Be patient and let them work it out.

The moderators are there to keep the enforced across the community forum.
I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.

GSM updates come faster
If what amounts to a theme is a big deal to you, you might think about going back to a gsm carrier
But sit tight, it doesn't really add anything to your phone
My guess the reason the mods are editing all these posts is because there is already many topics on the subject and this adds nothing to the debate. Much like JB adds nothing to a phone! LOL

The Galaxy Nexus may be a Google device, but the Verizon Wireless Galaxy Nexus is just that - a carrier-branded phone. Why would you buy a carrier-branded phone and think that you would have a different experience from any other carrier-branded phone? You could have stayed on AT&T and gotten the unlocked Galaxy Nexus last year if having a Google device were important to you.

Hi Mitchzx6r!
Thanks for your patience. Verizon and Samsung are working extremely hard to provide your device with the best experience. Check here for the latest software updates for the Galaxy Nexus http://bit.ly/vFYmiT.
