If we all file complaints with the BBB and the FCC maybe things will change

I filed complaints with the BBB and the FCC over the last round of delayed updates. I got a call from someone claiming to work in the President of VZW office. It sounded like complaints to the BBB and the FCC cause major headaches for the folks at VZW and all they wanted me to do was remove my complaints. I refused until my phone was updated then I notifed the BBB and the FCC that my issue had been resolved. I just filed another round of complaints on Monday. Maybe if everyone else who is tired of the same old BS from VZW files complaints then they might take our issue seriously. I doubt it but at least we'd be making things difficult for them.

Sounds like vzw needs to open a new department......for baby sitting.

And if enough people do this, do you know what is going to end up happening? Verizon will never update any of the phones, you will be stuck with the OS that was shipped with your phone. Is that what you want?

What are you complaining about in the 2nd round?

I seriously doubt your complaint triggered them to update your phone. Sounds a bit coincidental to me.

First you would need to convince Qualcomm to change their code on how CDMA works then the complaints would be valid. One of the reasons why AOSP had troubles. People assumed it's Verizon but the keys needed should not be passed around free nilly. That's asking for trouble in a multitude of levels. GSM doesn't use keys like CDMA does FYI.

Report button gets overused on here. Just my opinion. Might be much more effective to leave it up and have a few members remark that its inappropriate.
