Incorrect time zone

With automatic date and time turned on my phone shows the correct time, but the time zone says it is gmt-4 when right now it is gmt-5. This means that the time on my dual time zone clock is wrong and any app that uses system generated time and time zones is also wrong. It wouldn't be that important but all my family live in England so I kinda need it to be correct.
