Insurance at Verizon as its customer service has become flawed and not worth the 9 to 11 dollar a month fee. Purchased a Galaxy S6 edge through edge and from week one had nothing but trouble. Software issues and battery issues, Decided to call tech support and was disappointed with the response. 1st tech support wanted me to troubleshoot and then wanted to pass on the issue to Samsung and their response was to send the phone in. At 11 dollars a month for insurance a person is better off buying a secondary phone for that yearly fee. Verizon is not the only scammer ATT, Sprint, and T-Mobile are on this too. At the end of the conversation all carriers are not providing the service or the details of the service that customers are paying for. Read and review carefully before you sign on for insurance because its your hard earned money.

nazarr,
That is definitely not how we want you or any of our customers to feel. We always want to ensure that you are getting the service that you deserve and the best of all your features such as insurance. I can certainly understand how device issues can be frustrating and we're always here to help if you run into any. Many of the concerns that you mentioned would be things that your warranty would cover at no charge within your first year of purchase unless you have also subscribed to the extended warranty. Insurance is primarily used for when a device would be lost, stolen or damaged. We'd like to turn this experience around and help out any way that we can. You mentioned software issues, what exactly seems to be going on with the device?
