Is there a way to sync my Outlook calendar to my phone calendar?

I would like all of my events in my Outlook calendar to sync to my phone.  I'm not sure how to do this?

Are you using Outlook.com or do you have the desktop version included in Microsoft Office?  Also, are you connected to an Exchange server for your Outlook email/calendar?
