Issues connecting with computer

When connecting to my computer it will not connect to exchange data between the phone and computer initally. Also it keeps popping up with the remember my computer and it doesn't remember it every time.

Anyone know how to fix this?

First thing you want to do is make sure the phone is set to the proper mode so that it is discoverable by the computer when plugged in.

Settings | PC Connection | Select USB connection method

     then choose:

Media Sync (MTP)

Try connecting the phone to a different USB port on the computer.

Depending on computer, you might have to install USB drivers if they don't auto-install when the phone is detected.
