Issues with Cloud

My s5 keeps having issues with the Cloud. Will back up my contacts only. Keeps giving me messages like no data connection or back up paused/ service temporarily unavailable. Have been through Verizon Tech Level 1 and 2. Still no fix. My 1st smartphone. Very disappointed. Thank goodness for Google Backup.

Oh no, I am sorry that your phone is not connecting to your Cloud. Does this happen with both our network and wifi?
