I am having issues making calls in and out again. I talked to Verizon customer service last week they got it working and now it's not. Keeps on saying that Verizon does not have a roaming agreement in this area. I'm in Creston, IA. I can get on the internet, get messages and everything else. I also have 4G LTE coverage. What do I do?

You can power the device down, remove the SIM for a minute, reinstall and see if that helps. Also check your cellular network settings and see if it's set to Global and see if you're roaming is on. I would change it to LTE/CDMA and try both with roaming off and roaming on to see if this helps.

I did what you suggested and it still didn't help. Any thing else I can do?

Did you restart your device inbetween changing all those things?

Yes, and I just restarted it just to make sure. Whenever I try to make a call it says extended network above the contact name.

Before it wasn't doing that and I could get on the internet while being on the phone and I can't do that either.

That's because you're using another carriers towers, but it's included in your plan. My suggestion is to contact Verizon via Chat:

Contact Us | Verizon Wireless

Toward the bottom is the Chat feature.

Tell them what you've already done in efforts to fix it and they will have you remove your SIM card one more time while they do something on their end and then they will start a ticket; which is just a way to alert the owner of that tower that something isn't right.

Chat process will take about 30 minutes and then hopefully by later today the issue is resolved.

Ok, thank you. Just to let you know though they already submitted a ticket about it and 3-4 days later it was fixed. Then Verizon called me about a week later to tell me that it was fixed and there were no more issues. Then about a week later it's having the same issues. It was fine Friday then yesterday it started again.

I'd just do it all over again, it's another carriers tower that is clearly having issues. In the mean time if you have access to wi-fi while at home you can download a free app to make phone calls over wi-fi. I personally use whatsapp because I call overseas, but I know you can use Google Voice (I think that's what it's called.)
