Just got used to sound priority mode with the earlier update and now I no longer have it again.

I found a work around! Go to Sounds & Notifications. Click on "Do Not Disturb" and switch it 'on'. Then click "Allow Exceptions" and choose "Alarms" or whatever you want to make an exception for.

Updates are meant to improve your device Lollipoppy. I regret to learn you are experiencing difficulties with your phone. What exactly is going on with sound priority? When did you update your phone? What update did your phone recently perform?

Sound priority is gone with the update installed this week. Guess it is now back to mute.  Also keep getting pop up Google app has stopped working.

Lollipoppy,

Let's look into this further, try going to settings, sound and notifications, interruptions and ensure all boxes are checked.

Have you seen the recent update? There is no longer an option for interruptions. It's GONE.

I am having the same problem. Not sure how I'll be able to wake up to my alarm now. I don't want to sleep with my phone's sound turned on!

I did find that as well!  I have it set for time I want the phone to be silent.................overnight when I am asleep!  Just weird that the sound priority option changed.  Peg
