Just want to say LOVE my Galaxy S6 Edge. Have phone on vibrate at work, for stock text notification (not verizon messages) I have led light and vibrate worked perfectly. After the Samsung Pay update, it seems notifications for text does not work anymore. I get no led light not vibrate nor smart alert. I get nothing. Anyone else experience this with a fix?? Absolutely do not want to reboot/reset phone. Super annoying it was working before and now it doesn't no matter what I do.

That's weird. I haven't had a problem since the update. Maybe download an LED app for notifications?

Hi thanks for the response. I do have Light Manager that will blink the LED light which is better than nothing but at the same time I want to know what the hell happened to my normal phone notification with vibration and smart alert. Those are gone. Will stop into Verizon store but have zero confidence they will know anything. Just so annoying.

Dragoan,
Thanks for staying in touch with us on the forums. I know how important it is to be able to get alerts! I took a look at our internal product reports for that device post-update, and I did not find this as a reported issue unforunately. Have you tried going into your settings and toggling the alerts off and back on? If so, you may need to do a reset of the phone. Oftentimes after an OS update, a reset is necessary to correct issues. I know this is not something you were wanting to do. However, one thing you can do to safeguard your phone's content before resetting is using Samsung's Kies software to create a backup of your phone first. This will take you to the Kies software. Just make sure that you download the one called "Kies 3" since your phone is a current model. http://bit.ly/1LEOLoe There's also an option to do software repairs using the software. I hope this helps!
