my husband lost his phone. We have another on the way.so for now he is receiving text to his tablet. But we need to lock or wipe his phone that is lost. How do I do that or can I?
You can use the Android Device Manager from your Google account to lock and wipe, even locate if phone is still on, and might even tell you where the last place was it was on at.
don't you have to activate it on the phone 1st....before it's lost?
By default, ADM is selected as a Device Administrator in most Android phones. So, you don't have to enable it, it is by default.
