Verizon is the LAST to push it! AT&T, T-Mobile, and Sprint APP have it! When?!
I am guessing about 2 months after Verizon starts selling the S8.
Absolutely! Android updates are one of the biggest reasons I had for leaving AT&T, they were always late. Now I've moved to Big red, and they are even worse! Next phone I but will be direct from Google or Apple so I can get updates directly when they are available.
The unlocked models haven't updated either. So not last.
Uhh, what? What percentage of phones are unlocked? I'm talking about Nougat for the masses. Based on what I'm seeing for Google searches, apparently they're rolling out for the other three.
Samsung sells the unlocked models on their website and it works on all the carriers. Unless Samsung publishes their sales numbers for type of model there is no way to know how many are sold for each type.
Hi Ann154
We (EVERYBODY) talking about major carrier.
such as Verizon,AT&T,Tmobile and Sprint.
If you buy direct from Samsung, you have a factory unlocked phone and should already have nougat. If you bought a phone from one of the big 4 carriers and had it unlocked, you are still depending on that carrier to release the update to your phone as each carrier has a different model phone. Verizon was part of the beta program for nougat though, and I know there were some problems, but from what I've read, most users were very happy with the update, so I don't understand this delay. Of the big 4 carriers though, they are last to release.
VZW is usually the last major carrier to update their phones (shame on them). However, look at it this way... we will have to get it now
They are not always last.
Carrier specific wise Verizon is last on upgrading nought look at how arrogant the customer service reponse is, you take money add [Remove] of bloat ware increase your stock value and treat customers like garbage BOYCOTT verizon should be the slogan, most of ur locations don't work with data while you are on phone calls either, you say your network is 97% best wherein in CA alone you are 97% worst, don't think customer will always stay with you if that's the attitude you keep, All the best to verizon and admit the fact the FROM CARRIER wise you are LAST, we bought phones from Verizon and yours is the only carrier in U.S sorry major carrier who doesn't even care to provide any info on it so you can't get rid of FACTS
profanity removed as required by the Verizon Wireless Terms of Service

chrisrach3 I understand wanting to have the latest and greatest software for your device. I apologize but I do not have a time frame of if/when that update will be released. You can find the latest software update information here http://spr.ly/65888nRla. Are you wanting this update because you are having trouble? If so what is happening?

vzw_customer_support We are wanting Nougat for the features and performance increases. Verizon itself has a page explaining the benefits of Nougat. We just want to know when we will get what others already enjoy.
Ann154 Please stop trying to justify to us why Verizon has not released the upgrade. IT IS THEIR BUSINESS.
Verizon has the nougat firmware update. It's titled G935VVRU4BQA2 and they need to quit making excuses and release it already. Here's my proof:

Verizon Galaxy S7, S7 Edge Android 7.0 Nougat Update: Carrier Lags As AT&T, Sprint, And T-Mobile Release Upgrade : TECH …
Just wondering if it is real why hasn't the ROM been found in the XDA. I saw only the beta ROM on XDA.
Why do the carriers have to push out OS updates anyway. Wouldn't it make way more sense to just have Google push them out when they are ready and the carriers can have an add-on instead of integrations???
REFORM THE SYSTEM!!!!!
You can help "reform" the system by pushing back on the manufacturers to be accountable for the updates.
