MY Gallery is locked asking for a swipe code, I never set this up

I need to unlock my gallery using some sort of swipe code it set up, how is that done?

Thanks for reaching out to the community forum regarding your phone. It is a great resource. I'm sorry to hear that there's some sort of a lock occurring in your gallery. Is this the only place that you are being prompted to use an unlock swipe? Swiping just means that you are dragging a finger across the phone horizontally or vertically. This is not a secure process, so there shouldn't be a code involved. If you are seeing something other than the standard swipe indicator, please let us know what that is so that we may help.

We're not giving up on you. Do you mean your device is locked or the specific gallery application? Was this the default app or a 3rd party one you've installed?
