Major charging issues...grrr! help please!

Since yesterday my phone suddenly won't hold charge and isslow to charge, even draining while charging! I just activated this phone about a month ago. It is a refurb replacement I also bought a new battery around that time. So the battery should not be the problem here! I have tried charging on various chargers throughout my home as well. What gives? Last night I went to sleep with the charge at 20% and woke up 6 hours later at 7am with just 34%. It's 3:30pm now and I have been charging all day and charging is 9%...I had this problem a year ago. I don't recall what fixed it. There has to be something that helps! Also I go into Task Manager and clear memory but it starts just above1gb it stays around 1gb after "closing 54" or so....phone is now at 8%?! Tuping this WHILE CHARGING has drained 1% in 5 minutes time....

You may need to have the replacement replaced.

I think so. I was eligible for an upgrade as of the 7th but I am confused now thst Verizon is changing. But I definitely don't want an S3 again! Finacially, I have to wait til September Was just hoping there was a fix for this issue...I called customer sevice today and got no where.

Well, you can upgrade again as a current customer to a 2 year plan, however I might re-access that idea and look at a device payment plan in accordance to the new plans. You might come off better over the long run. Besides, you wind up paying full price for the phone anyway PLUS the $40 upgrade charge. So, why not go the DPP and new Plan route and put that $40 upgrade fee towards the cost of a new phone. That's almost 2 months of phone payments right there instead of tossing the $40 for the upgrade fee.

Having a working phone is definitely important so I completely understand how you feel. What happens when you plug in the charger? Does it look as if the phone where charging? Has there been any damage to the phone or charging port? Was this a warranty replacement VZW sent you or did you purchase somewhere else?
