Before I upgraded, I had a Samsung S20 Ultra from Verizon. As I kept the phone after the upgrade, I thought it would be a good idea to give it to my mom in Germany. I was told by Verizon that it would not be a problem.
Unfortunately, it does not work - after several attempts by the new provider O2, they were not able to help. The phone seems to be still locked to Verizon. I was told all phones are unlocked.
Is there a way to make the phone work and how?
