Ever since my system update been having alot of issues with WiFi. Have used alot of data due to this issue. Anyone else having this issue?

Thank you for your note. I phoned Verizon Tech Support this morning. We

booted my phone in safe mode, still had the same problem. Then support saw

that I had a major update waiting. We updated and ut fixed the issue. My

wifi internet access is back to lightening fast.

Have you tried to complete a system cache clear?

Major issue with connecting to the net.  Can't download from Google Play, use Chrome, or search Google.

Found that if you reset all connections the wifi situation if fixed.

Yes same issue, same time frame.  Frustrating!  In addition, my device is scanning for connections every 4 seconds despite my having set all the settings for it to not do that.  Never had any issue before this last update.

My wifi is fine after update but I lost 4G and reception dropped to 1 & 2 bars where I used to have 4G and usually full bars....anybody else? Any fix?

Let me guess; your battery probably drains faster now?  That happened to my GS6 Edge plus after a security update and has been that way ever since.

Hello Gemini94, has your problem been fixed? I have a galaxy S6 edge plus and I'm still having problems with wifi connectivity. I cannot make whatsapp calls nor hangout calls nor facebook calls because after a seconds of calling I get disconnected. Also music apps stops playing music as soon as the phone lucks up, even in verizon mobil data usage.

KAPELLA98, I want to make sure that we get your device back in good working condition. Do you ever notice that the wi-fi turns itself off or is it just slow connection and the app is "buffering"? Are the app up to date from the Google Play Store? Please keep us posted.

Well, I want to tell you that I resolved my problem by turning the "power saving" mode off. Turning this feature off help all my apps start working normally. I didn't know this feature could cause so many functions to act weird. I still wanted to post this in case any others user have the same problems I had. I hope if they come across this post it can help them.

too bad you didn't check to see what happens to the phone when you select power saving.
