Which messaging app? If you mean Verizon's Message+, then yes.
In Message+, press the menu button (three lines ont he top-left).
From the menu, select Settings, and an Enable Signature option is on that screen. Enable that, and tap the Auto Signature box below to set your signature text.

@rfrankcfp That's a great question. There certain applications that would allow you to add a signature to your text messages. @Elements is correct; if you're using Message+ you have the option to enable signature. Can you please tell me which messaging app are you using? What's the make and model of your phone? We are here to help.
