Missed calls, overheating , low battery life?

So i've been having a couple issues with my phone. First off, i recieve no calls at all and i get home to find out my husband has been calling my cell nonstop. Same issue when i call his phone. I have even called them back and forth right next to each other and same issue not rining . Second, my phone tends to overheat often, and along with that issue my battery life tends to last only a few hours. Yet takes forever to charge. I thought it was due to the wireless charger i bought, but now thinking otherwise. These issues are such a hassle since i still owe lots on this phone.

If all incoming calls go straight to voice mail and fail to ring the phones, check to see if the phones are optioned to reject all incoming calls.

For overheating, there is a tool in SETTINGS that gives a breakdown of which processes are drawing battery power and how much. Check to see what the top two items are. My Samsung Galaxy S4 usually shows SCREEN and INTERNET as the biggest drains.
