Cannot find the RED ICON Verizon Voicemail App after latest system update on Jan 19, 2021. Verizon Virtual Voicemail (Green Icon) is there. When call comes into voicemail it will NOT show up. Last voicemail date was Jan 18th. Error message is something like Sorry, there is a problem... and then cuts off. It is a 9007 error message., Verizon Voicemail (Red Icon) is no longer in my apps and can't see it on Google Store. What happened?

NO... The APP is not available on the store. It is VERIZON VOICEMAIL with a RED ICON that I am missing. I went to a local store and they worked with me for 60+minutes. A ticket was opened:
VERIZON TICKET - TR-231xxxxxxxxxx (will supply rest of numbers if needed. You can see it in my account)
We/I believe that it happened (for me) on Jan 19 when I did the new SYSTEM UPDATE. Very shortly after that I noticed a GREEN ICON where I had a RED ONE. I used to get very little voicemails. My wife has an S9 and after her SYSTEM Upgrade her RED ICON was still there. I get a 9007 error when a voicemail comes in. I am getting much more voicemails now.

I wonder if Samsung moved the voicemail feature into the dialer application or another application to align it with the standard visual voicemail feature used on the Pixel phones across all carriers and away from the exclusive applications previously provided by the carrier.
I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.

gmartinsen, we understand the importance of making sure you are able to access your Voicemail. Let's continue to investigate. How are your data services when Wi-Fi is off? Are you still able to gain access to your Voicemail by dialing *86?

I've never seen a red verizon voice mail app on my phones, why is that? I always just have the green visual voice-mail and use that free. Currently using the samsung note 10 plus. Don't even see a verizon voice-mail app in the google store.

- So you normally have 2 voice-mail icons, red and green? I have only ever had one icon. On my LG G6 it was red as I just checked my husbands G6 and that's all he has and it accesses visual voicemail. On my Samsung note 10 plus it's green and accesses visual voicemail. Never saw a red and green icon I don't think, weird.

The video didn't help because it tells me to click on the icon..... I DON'T HAVE AN ICON? The RED Verizon Voicemail icon disappeared with the last SYSTEM UPDATE.

Try the 2nd part at that link going to settings in the upper right. Doesn't the green icon give you Visual voice mail when you are connected to 4G?

Hope you get it sorted. I never had a separate icon for just voicemail so no clue how that works. I get a voicemail notice In the upper left and if I want to see visual voicema turn my wifi off and connect to 4g and it's in the green icon or I can dial 86. My phones have always done it this way so curious to know about having another icon for just voicemail. Did you see anything in phone settings when you went to the 2nd step? Maybe someone at android central for the note 10 on verizon would know so I would try and ask there. Another thought is maybe call and see if your voicemail needs to be reset, happened to me once.

Gmartinsen, being able to receive your voicemails as intended is imperative. I understand you're sometimes getting a 9007 error. To gain clarity, are you getting this error when you're connected to Wi-Fi or using your VZW cell phone data? Where was your phone purchased?

I get the 9007 error 100% of the time.
I know it happens on VZW Carrier and I believe it happens at home on my WiFi at other peoples house on WiFi.
Phone purchased directly from VeizonWireless a day before official release.
The started the day after I put in the latest SYSTEM UPDATE. Jan 19 I believe.

I am having the EXACT same problem, from the icon changing to getting NO messages. I've tried everything that I can think of and suggestions from the web.
Very frustrating since you pay extra NOT to get your messages.

I have been working with support for days. Trying all sorts of stuff. I'm calling Samsung Support later tomorrow.
DO you have SAMSUNG CLOUD icon on your phone? VZW says I should have one but I don't. VERY STRANGE.

No Samsung cloud app on my note 10 plus and nothing in the google store. I can log into my Samsung cloud online though. What would the cloud app have to do with verizon visual voicemail?

acrafatylady2, we are here to help! Have you tried checking the Samsung Galaxy Store instead of the Google Play store for Samsung Cloud?

Being able to access apps from your Samsung Galaxy Note 10 is very important. We're sorry to hear that the voicemail app is missing from your device and we're here to help you. I apologize for your inconvenience. Have there been any recent changes with your device? (e.g., software update, new apps downloaded, etc.) Have you tried rebooting your phone? -
