My Android Messages not being received by iPhone users

Hello. I am at my wits end here with text messaging from my Samsung Galaxy S21 5G+. My phone works fine, but lately, and more frequently, friends/co-workers/family who have iphones are not receiving my text messages.
I have tried everything suggested online including clearing caches, restarting, maximing performance by cleaning up the phone (which I already do all the time) and clearing trash. I've even had a friend of mine who has an iphone use the tips found online to see if that would work. Nope. And it's not just her phone. It's everyone who has an iphone. I need to be able to text to iphone users for work/personal/family business so this is hugely inconvenient for me. I love Samsung, but if this continues I may have to switch to iphone and that is something I swore I would never do.
Anyone else having this issue, especially recently? Are there any fixes for it?
Thank you!

Smitty2626,
We are so sorry you are having trouble with your messages. We want to get to the bottom of this. Let's get a few more details.
Are you able to receive message from all users otherwise? Did anything happen or change on your device? Are you using Messages+?

Thank you. I am using messages+ and nothing has changed with my phone. It works perfectly fine in all other respects. Acquaintances with iPhone sometimes get my message, or not. It's very spotty. I have also noticed that for some with iPhone the text will show "delivered" others just say "sent" and sometimes they see those and sometimes they don't. It's super frustrating.

Smitty2626,
Thank you for the details. We want to find a solution. Do you receive messages just fine from everyone? The ones that say sent or delivered, do they actually get received? Do you know when this started?

I received messages from everyone with no problem. It started a few months back, but now it seems to be more frequent as it is happening daily. As for the messages that say "sent", sometimes they get them, sometimes they don't.
I appreciate you looking into this and am happy to answer any questions.

Hello! I understand how important it is for your text messages to work. If the messages are saying "sent", that means that message was successfully sent from your device. If the recipient isn't receiving them, there may be an issue with the recipient's phone. If the issue was your phone, you would get an error message when sending messages.

With all due respect, it's not just ONE iPhone user, it's several. That indicates a problem with either Verizon or the phone. Also, if you see above, I am not the only one experiencing this issue. A simple Google search h will show you the same thing. So, I think blaming it on something else is just taking the easy way out instead of trying to actually solve the issue.

Hi there are known issues for Picture Messaging and Group Messaging on Apples devices. Are these an issue with yours?

No. I have detailed all of my issues in this thread. It doesn't involve what you have mentioned at all.

I'm having this same problem with my google pixel 7 phone... Everything explained in the initial complaint is nearly identical, except that none of my SMS's are received by any iphone users, but all MMS group messages are. I've tried using Messages + and Google messages with the same results. I also cleared cache, removed and reinserted Sims card, reset API, uninstalled/reinstalled messaging apps, etc. etc. The only way I can get iphone users my text messages from my pixel phone's verizon number is to create a group text, using my google phone number and the iphone contact I'm trying to send my message to.

One other issue I forgot about but it just happened again. Occassionally when I send iPhone users a text, they only get part of it or it goes thru to them looking like computer code. Just happened with a co-worker.

Hello Smitty2626!
We are here to help, and we know how important it is to be able to send messages reliably. How often does this happen to you? Do you notice if it happens at certain times of the day, or on certain days of the week?

Thanks for those details! When this occurs, is it only within group messages, or messages to individuals as well?

Oddly it never happens in group texts. Only to individuals.

My family is having a similar issue.
We all use the Messages by Google App. We all have Samsung phones with Verizon as our carrier.
I have a Galaxy Z Fold3 5G, wife has a Galaxy S 22 Ultra 5G and my daughter has a Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G.
The 5G part doesn't mean anything currently where we live because we only have 4G service right now.
For all of us in my family, we have been having a similar problem as yours for months.
Frequently, throughout the day, when we text someone who has an iPhone, or text a group that contains an iPhone user, the text will get stuck on Sending...
Sometimes, the message goes through after waiting seconds to minutes and sometimes not. We have tried everything from turning off Chat features (Rich Communication Services) in Google Messaging to clearing the cache of the app, to force stopping the app and restarting. Nothing consistently fixes the problem.
Sometimes I can copy the message and resend it and it goes thru immediately, and sometimes not, so that is not likely fixing the problem either, as it is probably random as to when the text gets stuck on the Sending part.
Since you are having an issue with Verizon's Messaging + app and we are having an issue with Message by Google app, I can only assume, the problem is either Samsung or Verizon and not the apps themselves.
