My Gs7 edge Auto Brightness feature worked fine up until I updated to 7.0 Nougat. I switch it on and it sets itself up with the right level of brightness. However when I lock then unlock the phone it sets the level to th lowest setting, I can hardly see the screen. I have to go into a really dark area to see my screen. Since the update I leave the auto brightness off.

RENZO1985, update should always help improve your device instead of hindering it. Let's get this fixed. Does this happen all the time or at random times? Please put the device in Safe Mode http://vz.to/2nobWyy and test the brightness.

I have the same issue! I'm on a regular S7. The first day on Nougat everything was fine. Second day this keeps happening. Would like to know if anyone has fixed this?

My friend also reported this issue with her S7 after the update. My phone is currently upgrading to 7.0 and I will respond if I experience the same.

From these posts, it sure looks like the charging problem is yet another problem with the Nougat install. How is it that Google and VZW can miss issues like this? Again, yet another issue that confirms my decision to delay installing it.
