My Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 is running Android v 4.1.2. I am using an app that requires Android 4.4 or later to be able to use all of its features. How do I update to the latest version of Android?
The version you have is the latest. There will be no more updates for this device.
blainenay,
You've come to the right place for help! Once any new software is available for the phone it is automatically pushed to the phone. What software and build version is on the phone http://www.verizonwireless.com/support/knowledge-base-72761/?

Android v 4.1.2
Build #JZO54K.I925VRAMK1
The software that needs a newer version of Android is called "Garmin
Pilot." Their tech support say I need Kit Kat.

It's quite annoying that Verizon would stop supporting a device that's only 18 month old.
I think you mean Samsung or google. Verizon has nothing to do with the operating system of your note 3
correction.****Note 10.1**** not Note 3.
