When I receive emails, there is no sound. I've checked my settings, turned off the phone and removed the battery all to no avail. I've even selected a different sound than the one I was using. It worked until recently.
Go into your settings for your email account and make sure Email notifications is sat along with a notification sound. Sometimes the sound will be set to none.
Thanks...settings and sounds are OK...were working until recently.
one more thing to try, that I can think of; Go into your application manager, applications then All. Find your messaging and make sure the box that says notifications is checked.
I met to say email....not messaging.
