It seems for the past several weeks my phone seems to dim when I put it up to my ear to take a call but then the screen does not come back on when I take the phone away from my face like it is supposed to. The screen seems to dim if anything comes within 3 or 4 inches of the sensor but the screen never comes back on and I have to hit a button.
sorry if this is re-hashing and I am sure there are others with this issue but frankly I can't seem to get this forum to search and come up with anything so I decided to start a new topic.
Did you try pressing the power button briefly?
