A couple seconds after I press play on voicemail and hold the phone to my ear, the screen locks and stops playback. I've tried holding the phone upside down to avoid contact with my face and I've tried hovering the phone close to my ear rather than held against (to avoid any screen contact). The only way I have found to play voicemails without the screen locking is to put the phone on speaker which is hardly practical when I'm at the office.
Has anyone else had this problem and if so, what did you do to resolve it?
We can help! Have you reviewed your screen timeout options for your device? If the display is turned off, is are screen set to lock automatically? Try adjusting the timeframe in which this happens to a minute, or disable to lock completely.

Melissa, I can understand your concern regarding your screen locking up when you have it up to your ear. We will look into this for you. Do you have a case covering your phone? Have you completed any software updates lately?
