My son was using my phone in the car and said why does it need a password now? He has no idea what he did, and has no clue what the password may be. What do I do?
By default if you try a password, after ten times the device will reset, unless you changed that option. Otherwise you may be stuck with a paperweight.
Great question! Unfortunately if the device is locked and now requires a password to be unlocked, the device will need to be Factory Reset.
