My touchscreen is unresponsive, even in safe mode

Ive had my phone for a few months. There have been times when the touchscreen would stop responding in certain apps, but if i did a restart it would start working. Today it stopped responding, and even after re-starting, nothing. Restarted in Safe Mode. Nothing. Phone tunrs on and off but cant do anything else.

rgernhardt - Time to get your screen to react to your touch. We ca work together to get this issue resolved. Does your device have any physical/water damage? Is there a screen protector on the device or a case? Please turn off your device and take out the SIM card and let me know if there is any discoloration or or corrosion on the gold contacts of the SIM card. After a min place your SIM card back into the device and power on. Any changes on the screen touch response?
