NEW UPDATE ERROR!!

I am trying to install the new update on Samsung Galaxy s4. I have tried it with wifi and data. I also tried with kies. Each time it starts for a few seconds and then the droid man is on his back with ERROR underneath. Is anyone else having this problem or is this just a crappy update?

WARNING !!! Don't add the update!!!! Terrible update!!!

All features freeze every few minutes and phone has to be restarted. Calls, texts, data, etc. are interupted and lost when this happens. Been trying to get tech service (always busy). After ignoring the update msg. I finally had no option and was FRCED to add the update to use my phone. So ANGRY! I would contact Samsung or Verizon before adding this update. HORRIBLE!

Tidbits

mine is updated and works fine. Seems like either a bad flash or something installed or a app setting is corrupted or doesn't work like it should causing problems.

I had the same problem and never got it to update. Thankfully- because of all the problems.

dnv1974, after reading about all the widespread issues with this update, you're lucky it didn't work. Delay it as long as you can.

I am sorry to hear you are having issues updating your device. Is there any other information listed on the error message other then the android and ERROR? When trying to update the device trough Kies did your computer screen present any other information about the failed update?

Just like any other update only a small % of users have trouble. Users won't post oh wow that update went great! So the complaints don't necessarily reflect the million updates.
