NOTE 4 6.0.1 UPDATE ISSUES

Did the update, factory reset twice, battery drain is insane, 4g connection is crap, dropped calls left and right, music playing freezes, every app is acting up... I can't afford an upgrade, just got this phone barely a year ago... What's going on? If it doesn't get fixed will Verdon buy me a new phone?? This is annoying.

Same issues here Verizon after Marshmallow update.

Please respond. Will you be fixing battery, boot loop, and freeze issues?

the update causes my phone to randomly restart, often ending in it looping on the restart screen for hours until it dies. It is clearly the update that is the problem

same here but on the S7EDGE. REGARDLESS. it was a security update and apparently its so secure it prevents normal functionality of device. welcome to my nightmare.

mcojoc updates are meant to improve phones, not cause issues. Let's make sure your phone is working as it should be. Please share details as to what is going on with your battery. Is it freezing and looping when you do something specific?

Thanks for the reply.

Problems are occurring after update and using the same applications and settings as before. Battery Drain is main problem, but also random reboots and boot-loops are occurring since the upgrade. No I will not do a factory restore, I don't have time to backup and restore my information (and shouldn't have to in order to receive an update)....

Plus - I've read from others that it doesn't work. Please investigate the problems that I've seen have been reported by many, many other people and provide an update fix.

I have a Galaxy Note 4, just like the dozen other people on here who are only having problems after the update. It is not an app, it is not a problem with my phone, it's the update and the new operating system and either Verizon or Samsung is responsible. If you read your own discussion board you'd see many people complaining of looping and battery drainage after the Marshmallow update. Stop being in denial and admit what caused the problem and fix it.

Factory restore does not work. I even took mine to a Samsung help center, twice, and had them manually reinstall the operating system. It did not help.

I have to chime in here with a similar issues. I get random battery drain. Last night it was a calendar notification that went off at midnight and left the screen on for five hours. I've also noticed now the phone is extremely hot when playing games, especially if the charger is in at the same time (which doesn't charge, but merely keeps the battery at the same level). There are other minor issues, like apps not functioning properly until I pull the battery for five minutes. The phone also freezes for up to ten seconds at random times.

Yeah, I'm gonna get the obligatory "reset your phone". But as others said, that shouldn't be required. Doing so will certainly result in lost data....

every sign of dead cells within battery, sooner or later charge or not, device wont see battery, and it wont power up. sand as said, charge wont lick up.a 25,00 battery might save 300 worth device,

I just did a factory reset and phone is still crashing battery life is abysmal, i don't use apps that use a lot of data, and I usually have mobile data off battery is at 50% by noon with very minimal usage. I don't have

Facebook, Instagram, snapchat, periscope, telesope, vine, livestream etc.

I do some IM and check emails, take a few pics send 2-3 out and posted 3 pics to Pintrest battery yesterday was at 48%.

At this point since my phone was a year old in May is to just dump Verizon and change carriers since they are offering phones and contract buyouts.

Went to Verizon store yesterday guys says phone seems fine no damage at all no water. He cannot get hardware test to run so he suggests I call Verizon tech support and have them diagnose it remotely..

Now maybe they have some really great tools to run over 4G but to me having the phone in your hand is a better way to test hardware than remotely?

Since so many people are having issues you would think Verizon would at least offer us a way back to 5.X

i will tell you this i am not upgrading another phone for MONTHS after an update.
