Network Extender and Fascinate Signal Strength

We received our Network Extender last week. Configured it to prioritize our phones and physically installed it in our living room. Dialed #48 to verify my Fascinate was using the Network Extender. Noticed my Fascinate Signal Strength was still all over the place, going from 4 bars to 2 bars to 3 bars while I was standing within 10 feet of the Network Extender. I also noticed my battery life has gotten worse.

Is this to be expected?

Hello thornbeck,

I know your expectations were for the extender to assist. I would like to ask a few questions to help. Are there multiple VZW devices in your home? If so, how did the other devices respond to the extender? This will help us determine if the extender is doing its job or if your device is just not corresponding. The battery life can decrease a little due to the extra attempt to connect and search for signal. If there are other phones to observe please respond with the actions of battery life. Please advise me of the above information to further assist. Thank you.
