Network time an hour behind in 32822

Hello. Two android Verizon customers (I'm on an S7, he is on a pixel 2) at my workplace noticed yesterday 12/20/19 that our phones reverted to being an hour behind but only while at work. I left work at 2:30pm on 12/20, my phone had reverted sometime after 2:15. I had it restart, it didn't fix itself. I double checked the network time settings and had it restart again while on my way home. It was fixed.

This morning on my way into work (5:45am) my 4:45 alarm went off just as I was getting off the highway. I checked and the phone had reverted again to being an hour behind just as I arrived back at work.

None of the iPhone Verizon customers at work reported the issue.

Not sure what's going on with it but since my smartwatch relies on my phone for the correct time, that's troublesome.

Savageseas, with as busy as lives are today, we know how important it is to be on time. Unexpected changes to your time definitely would be confusing. Let's get to the bottom of this, how does that sound? How far do you need to be from the work address when this change happens? Do you recall adding any recent apps, games or software to the phones? Are the devices connected to Wi-Fi? Please complete a health check by following the steps at https://www.verizonwireless.com/plans/#shared. If anything is yellow or red, this will be an indication to take a closer look. Please let us know what you see.

Why did you sent this person to a page of shared plans to do a health check? There is nothing on that page to do a health check. Do you have a correct link to do that? I need this issue resolved!

Having the correct time displayed is crucial. I know I would be frustrated to seeing the time switching. We'd be glad to help. When did this issue first start? What is the make and model of your phone?

Make and model is in the original post. Samsung Galaxy S7, android at most recent update.

Issue started the Friday before Christmas. I noticed an alarm going off on my phone an hour after it was supposed to. I checked and the phone time (using network time) was saying it was 2:45pm when it was 3:45pm. I was at work when it happened. (32821 zip). I live 14 miles from work in 32829. It reverted to our time zone on my way home. It was fine at home and has been.

The next day on the off ramp about a mile from work it reverted again to an hour behind. Throughout the day it switched back and forth while I was at work. I finally put the setting on not using network time and I haven't taken it off that setting so on my phone I haven't had it change again.

I keep wifi off at work so it's not the wifi (which is spotty and drains my battery so that's why i keep it off).

Yesterday my family came to my workplace and one phone was on power saving the whole time (galaxy S7) and it didn't revert that he noticed. The other has a galaxy S9 and the time kept bouncing between eastern and central time zones. It only stopped when he turned it to non-network time.

I haven't noticed any updates and haven't downloaded any new apps lately. More friends and coworkers have reported this when in the vicinity of my workplace but only there and so far all are android users.

Loren B, your answer was useless as all it did was take me to a page with shared data plans. There was also no button for correct answer.

I am having this same issue for the last few days! I'm close to you in zip code 33713! What is this happening? And how can we get it to stop? It's been switching back and forth between Eastern and Central time for days! HELP!
