I got a new Samsung S III through insurance because of a cracked screen. Took both to the Verizon store and they put the memory card from the old to the new phone which gave me the app's that came with my new phone and my contact list. I have reloaded all my personal app's but still have questions about moving my calendar and pictures over to the new phone. Any quick and easy way to do both? Then is there a way to remove all the personal stuff from the old phone before I send it back to the insurance company?
Thanks in advance for your help.

Your pictures are on internal storage in a folder named DCIM if you can still access your screen plug the phone into your computer via usb cable and it may have to load a driver, just load the driver and then your phone should come up as a seperate drive (external) which you can see on your computer.
After you see your device simply double click the DCIM folder to access your pictures. You do a select all, then cut, and move them to a folder of your choice (make a folder on your desktop and call it old phone) then right click the new folder and do a paste. After the photos are cut and pasted they are off your phone.
Putting them on your external SD card would be the way to go. Also set your camera settings to save your pictures to the external SD card this way it frees up space on your new phone.
Your calendar can be retrieved via Google just log into calendar from your new phone and it will update automatically with a sync.
I would wipe the device via holding down the power key and the volume up and down keys at the same time and do a system wipe, or have a verizon store do it for you.
