Dear Smart Phone Experts:
Here's your chance to earn some points answering newbie questions...
I'm a 60-something lady, and have been a Verizon flip phone user since 2004. Didn't use it for texting, camera, internet - just a phone with contacts and voicemail. Oh, and I used it for an alarm. I decided it was time to catch up with the rest of the world, so I bought a Verizon Samsung Galaxy S 4 yesterday at Best Buy. They set it up for me, told me I could Google lots of tutorials and videos online, and sent me on my way.
I was able to make a call, receive a call, and made and received several texts. I also stumbled around and somehow managed to set the alarm for tomorrow morning (hope it works), but now the alarm is prominent on my home screen.
How do I get my big date and time back on my home screen? (Is home screen the right term?).
Where are the online beginner videos and tutorials hidden?
Is there some kind of online Help manual where you can use search terms to get directions for what it is you need to do? (Please tell me I don't have to play with it all day to figure it out!)
Looking at the small keyboard while texting hurts my eyes. Is there a way to remedy this?
How do I set up a personal greeting for voicemail?
Retrieve voicemail?
Move back and forth between different buttons?
Waaaahhhh!!! WHAT HAVE I DONE??? How do I learn 2 use this thing!?!
I'm trying to keep calm...
