No texts

I just opened an account with Verizon yesterday  and

I just got the S7 and I am not getting any text messages.  Nor am I  able to send any text messages when I check my Verizon account and also says that I've gotten zero text messages and I have sent 0 text messages

Usage data takes time.  Have you complete the port from your old carrier to Verizon?  You might need to visit a corporate store to make sure, if you cannot call Verizon from another phone that is.

I called and my number has been successfully ported but I'm still not able

to send or receive texts. I can make calls. Just having a problem with

the texts.

This can take 3 days to fully port all features.

I'm still unable to receive texts. I can send them and I can do everything

else, I'm just not receiving any texts.
