Not receiving group messages from iphone users

I just switched from an iphone 4s to a Samsung Galaxy S4. I group message a lot, but since I bought the galaxy im not receiving group messages from iphone users. However, i am receiving group messages as long as there is another non-iphone user included in the group text. Does anyone know how to fix this? Or is anyone having a similar issue?

Well that is not cool erijames! There is a simple fix for this issue. Since you had an iPhone before the S4, your phone number is still registered to receive iMessages. You would need to remove your mobile number from the Apple ID in order to receive the messages on your S4. Here is how:

Click on the link below and sign in, select unregister mobile number:

https://supportprofile.apple.com/MySupportProfile.do

Here is an alternate method if you still have the iPhone:

Go to settings > messages > send & receive > remove mobile number. Turn off iMessage and sign-out of your Apple ID.

It may take a few hours to work but should fix it! Let us know if the issue persists.
