I'm on my 2nd Fascinate. Initial problems were:
- email coming to phone 3 days late
- unit freezing up
- most importantly - not receiving phone calls
Since I'm in the 30 day window of my contract, I exchanged it for a new Fascinate.
On the 2nd day I've had this one, I'm missing important calls. There is no notification of a call coming in or a missed call (just a voicemail notification and/or complaint from someone trying to get oa hold of me).
Should I bother getting another Fascinate or is this what i can expect from all of them??

are you in a poor signal area? try *228 option 2 to update your roaming list and that may help.

Thanks for the suggestion. I did this yesterday and I'm still having the same problem. I've missed 4 calls today. I'm in the Chicago metro area and all calls have been in 4 different areas.
Is there anything I can do about this?

I have provided some information below that may help.
Step 1 – Try a soft reset
-Power the device off
-Pull the battery out for 20 seconds
-Place the battery back in
-Power the device back up
Step 2 – See if there are any updates for the device.
From a home screen, select Applications.
Select Settings.
Select About phone.
Select System updates.
Select Check New.
Step 3 – Like PJNC284 suggested, ensure you are getting an adequate signal.
Step 4 – Hard reset ***Performing a hard reset will remove ALL data including the Google account, system data, application data, application settings, and downloaded applications. Only perform this reset if absolutely necessary
