I have a Samsung A01 phone.
My pharmacy is sending out text messages regarding our prescriptions. They send them via a computer which then sends out the text messages. I have confirmed my phone number with them. And they confirm that Yes, the texts were sent OK.
I can send and receive other text messages. But not these.
Are there any special settings that I need to do on my Samsung A01 to receive the messages?

Hello, and thank you for your message. We hope you are healthy and doing well. Our agents are here to help with your Verizon device/service, so you can receieve texts from your pharmacy. At the same time, you are with Tracfone, and we would not have your account on our end. We realize that you have been waiting on a call, and we are sure they will call. If you haven't heard back from them, please call them back. You may be able to find assistance online by clicking here: https://www.tracfone.com/home. We hope this helps. *Andrea

I am a retired military member. Of which I am the sponsor to my husband. We obtain our medications at our local military base. Many times they are out of a medication for him.
They state that Yes, messages were sent and they are CONFIRMED that the message was sent OK. They also confirmed my phone number. And that the cell provider is Verizon. I used to list it with the base pharmacy the provider as Tracfone. But now that Verizon took over Tracfone it is now listed that way with the pharmacy.
The messages are sent via computer which gets converted to a text message.
I have a Samsung A01.
I am able to send and receive other text messages.
Last week I did a chat with Tracfone regarding this problem. They asked for my phone number, and stated that someone would get back with me in 15 min. So, I gave them my home number. This was so if I needed to do changes on the cell phone I could do it while talking with them.
They never did call and this was last week.
I really need help so the medication information is not lost. As I had to call the pharmacy directly, today, on my cell phone and it was almost 1/2 hour wait time to speak to someone regarding the medication shortage.
