Hello Verizon Community!
I just called Verizon Customer Service and spoke with an agent about what Verizon would offer for existing customers to upgrade to the Note Galaxy 20 line up. I explained the offer to the agent that AT&T is offering new and existing customers $1,000 in bill credits if they trade in an eligible device and have an unlimited plan.
AT&T Offer for new and existing customers.
Eligible devices:
About my Verizon services. I currently have 4 unlimited lines (2 Samsung and 2 Google), a galaxy watch, the smart home warranty, and the Total Mobile Protection Multi-Device. I consider myself a very profitable customer for Verizon.
I asked the Verizon rep if there was an offer comparable to the one AT&T was offering because I am looking at upgrading my 2 Samsung phones to the Note 20. He told me the standard offer that is on the website. I told him that was not close to what AT&T was offering their existing customers. He placed me on a brief hold while he spoke to someone above him. He said that Verizon would not make me an offer comparable to what AT&T is offering their current and new customers, or really any offer that is not published on the website. The only offer on the Note 20 is BOGO with a new line. He gave me the info I would need to cancel Verizon service and port my numbers to AT&T. Before I place my preorder with AT&T, I want to make sure that this is what Verizon wants to do.

Verizon doesn't price match and most best deals still require a new line.
Either switch or give it time for Verizon to play copycat like they did when they copied T-mobile's unlimited plan structure.

We certainly don't want to lose you, we know you want to get the best deal for your device. While we don't have a way to match an offer, we can certainly double check your account to make sure we don't miss anything. I have sent you a Private Message to continue.
