Note 7 overheating

Twice I have found my Note 7 overheating. Both times it was not being used; it was just sitting in an outside pocket of my purse on a table. The first time it was incredibly hot. The second time I got to it before it got too hot. Has anyone else experienced this problem?

Restart the Phone and leave it or an hour or two see it does it? Most likely it happened when lots of Apps are running behind the background and user are not closing it after finish with APP!!!!!!

Mine gets hot when I'm recharging it and that article has me concerned also.

Mine only did that after the first set of security updates on 8/19 or 8/20 - was burning up and not connected to the charger.

I powered it down and turned it back on and it was fine - so perhaps some process got locked/stuck after the security updates?
