Note 7 ship date

I was wondering the same thing. I pre-ordered mine on Thursday and was shocked when it said that it would ship by August 19th. Maybe they will get them out by this Friday, which would make it one week before the devices show up in the stores.

Back when I pre-ordered the Note 4, I remember that the stores had it about 4 or 5 days before I received mine. I thought that was very strange......

if I don't get it before the stores I will be really upset. I preordered to get the free gift and if Verizon holds the phones so we don't get them till the 19th we most likely wont get what we want for the free gift.

Well at least your order gives you a ship date ..... I ordered mine on Aug 3rd and it still says processing.

Okay my order is okay.... Per Verizon rep use the www.verizonwireless.com/myorders OR click on the check order status in the confirmation email right after you placed your order.

I ordered mine on the 6th, and I've had that message ever since then too. The impression I've got is that everyone is getting that status message until 2-days before it ships out.

I tried the myorders link you put, but it tells me that is an invalid page. The way I've been checking is -> My Verizon -> My devices -> My orders after I log into the Verizon Wireless website. If you go to the order status by the method I've described does it give you a different page/status than the myorders page you were visiting?

I was just told the device will ship out 8/19 and you should receive it 2 days later

That really sucks if that is the case. What is the point or preordering. My status update says shipping date 8/19/2016 I was hoping to already have the phone in hand and up and running by that date.

I feel the same way. Normally when you "pre-order" you get the item BEFORE it actually get sold in stores. The phones are set to arrive in the stores on 8/19/2016, but for the individuals that pre-ordered them, they will not actually get the phones until after the 19th (probably the 23rd or 24th). What is the sense in pre-ordering?

i tried that verizonwireless.com/myorders page today and your right they are having issues or they took it down. But the best way is to open the confirmation email when you ordered the phone and click on "check order status"

the mass manufacture pre order, then due to demand pre orders get first grab, then retail after. its only way for Samsung and Verizon make sure device is set for Verizon properly too. you have a week or less now, by Thursday or Friday next.

I agree why preorder if I will get it later then the release date.

But everytime I have preordered I have always gotten the phone at least the same day as the launch. Never after..... So I'm hopeful we will get it in our hands at least on the 19th.

I don't know who told you that, but other people who have inquired have been told pre-orders are still on schedule for delivery (not to be shipped out) on the 19th. The main website still lists the "8/19/16" as the "deliver by date", not the ship date. There is no reason for a delay as Verizon already has the phones in stock and ready for shipment. T-Mobile has already been confirmed for shipping out their carrier versions of the phone today. If Verizon Wireless doesn't ship out the phones prior to the 19th they are going to have a ton of people canceling their orders and going elsewhere (including competitors) to get the phones, and that's the last thing Verizon wants. Besides being an issue for the Samsung Promotion which is time sensitive and limited in quantity it would also be a PR nightmare for Verizon.

Other people who have pre-ordered phones in the past from Verizon say this false information happens every time there is a release. Someone who doesn't know any better says the "delivery date" is the "ship date", and people get worked up. Not one of the people who have pre-ordered in the past, and chimed in has said they their devices didn't ship out until the release date. They've all stated that the phones shipped out at least two days before the release date.

If your phone doesn't ship out two days prior to the 19th (aka Wednesday 8/17/16) then I recommend you call Verizon and tell them if they can't guarantee that they are going to get it to you by the 19th your going to cancel your order with them, and get it elsewhere.

ElGreenField, I have a feeling I might know what is confusing people. I just checked the email that I got when I pre-ordered and it does say deliver by 8/19/2016, but if I go to the website and check using the order number from that same email it now says that the expected ship date is 8/19/2016. So you have two different sources giving you conflicting information.

I'm a previous pre-order person who did not have my phone shipped before they hit the stores. In fact if you go back to around mid to late October 2014 you will read a lot of upset people that pre-ordered their Note 4's and they had not arrived before the Note 4 hit the stores.

I pre-ordered my Note 4 on the Verizon website on Sept 20th (one day after Verizon opened up the pre-orders)

They hit the Verizon stores on Oct 17th (the scheduled release date).

My two phones I ordered, arrived on Oct 21st. Just saying......

The official release date for the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 is August 19, 2016. This means that more than likely you will not get the phone on the 17th, it will more than likely arrive on the 19th. It will actually get someone into legal trouble if they sell the phone or have it arrive at your house before the 19th.

I ordered on 8/3/16. I received text this morning ( 8/14/16) that it's on its way with tracking number. Fedex says picked up from West Chester, PA and scheduled delivery 8/18/16. Not sure why it's taking from Sunday to Thursday but glad I'm getting it before 8/19/16.

I ordered my phone the morning of Aug 3rd. Just got a text message from Verizon saying my they received my order #xxxxx (a number I did not recognize, it did not match the original order number) on Aug 14th and I will be notified of tracking info when it ships. I also check my credit card and it billed today (it had not billed three hours ago).
