Note 8 was updated to the PIE software yesterday, I prefer the Verizon messenger app because of the customatization but now I'm no longer getting the notifications in the status bar.
Does the issue persist when you use the default messaging app that comes with the phone? What troubleshooting steps have you attempted since you started having this issue?
