Phone cannot make or take calls

Any time I try to make a call on my Samsung Galaxy S5, it just says dialing, eventually loses the network and says out of service area. Anyone who tries to call me, my phone never notifies me and just leaves a voicemail. I can still use text messaging and use the data for the internet, but I can not make or take calls. Even when I have full service, it just states dialing, then the network changes to 0 bars and the call ends stating out of service area. It's been happening for a couple weeks now and it happens anywhere I am. I've turned the phone on an off, taken the battery out and put it back in but it never changes the situation. How can I resolve this issue?

Having the ability to make and receive calls when you need is of the utmost importance. You've provided some great information about what's going on, but we need just a bit more information. You stated this has been happening for a couple of weeks, but were there any changes to the phone (new software, apps etc.) before this started happening? What software version do you have installed http://vz.to/1S7HQWH ?

As I explained in the first post, I can text and use data just fine, but even when my phone says I have service and I try to make a call (whether I'm at home, work or anywhere else) it immediately brings the network to zero bars and says out of service area. It happens everywhere I go.
