Is there a simple way to manage what comes thru your phone when you go to bed? I theres an emergency ph
call I want to get it, but email alerts or drunk friends sending txts msg, can wait till morning. Anyone know
anything other than turning settings on and off?
Thanks!

PS. I'm not interested in using AIRPLANE MODE as ALL communications are stopped which is not what I want.

You might have to look at a third party app. I use LightFlow to determine "quiet" times for text, email and social apps on my phone.
I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.

Well Verzion disabled the one that Sammy Built in, But I use a program from play store called "Beside (Night Clock)" which has a Widget to turn beside mode on - off does basically the same thing as the removed feture that Sammy Built in. Except it is manually turned on and off....

Hi Motosmoakeater,
Great question! I can certainly understand wanting to make sure that your not getting wanted calls and alerts in the middle of the night. There is not a default setting that would complete this request on the GS4. You can do a search in the Google Play store for a third-party application that would give you this functionality. Hope this helps!
Thanks,

There is your company just removed it. It's called "Blocking Mode" all other providers left it in and Verizon's in the only version of the firmware without it....
