Phone sending texts by itself

My Note 5 sent a text to my husband that said, "I'm at the movie theater." Nobody was home but me, I was in the shower, my phone was in another room. There were not any TVs or radios on...nothing that might have prompted some type of command. All apps were closed and phone was charging.

What you describe is something that I haven't seen before. I don't think that your phone just wanted to be at the movies, but if there was nothing that would have prompted the phone to do that, I'd have nothing but questions. Has this ever happened before? Do you use the speak to text feature on a regular basis, or is this a feature that you don't really use? Lastly, has it happened since?
