When I try to use the phone I get a "phone stopped working" message. I can receive calls but cannot initiate a call.

Sounds like the built in 'phone' app is having issues. Is there a way thru settings to reset/uninstall/re-install it?
We definitely want to make sure your device is working properly, and we are here to help. What's your device's model? Are there any software or app updates available? Could you please try restarting your device and test the app again?
