Phone suddenly stopped charging. Tried different cords but still nothing. Can the port be repaired?

It was fine this mmorning then went to plug it in and nothing happened

My Galaxy S4 mini did the same thing last night and today. I didn't drop or break the phone so I was puzzled why it suddenly stopped charging on any charger any cable. I applied the latest update I435VRUBOC1 and after updating and rebooting, it charges again. I suspect that the reboot fixed it more than the update. Maybe you can try pulling your battery and forcing a reboot????
