Phone will not text

I recently switched from an iPhone 4 to a galaxy S4 mini... I cannot receive texts from iPhone users despite my changing my passwords to all my apple IDs. I also continue getting a message saying there is not a valid recipient in my texts even though I have selected the # from my contacts.

I HATE iPhones and this is making me wish I had dealt with the misery of an iPhone rather than switch....

I figured it out so the people I regularly text can send me messages. Other

iphone users may not be able to since I dont have the iphone any longer.

Thanks for the update! They may need to power or adjust their iMessage feature to enable SMS messages being sent when iMessage is not available.
