Photo transfer after galaxy upgrade

I upgraded from galaxy s3 to S4. Can photos from backup be downloaded to PC

I understand the need of backing up those memorable moments gj17! Where are your photos currently backed up? If they are on the device, try this:

1. Connect the Samsung Galaxy S3 to the computer using the USB cable.

2. Slide down the Notifications panel at the top of screen.

3. Tap to turn on USB storage on the handset.

When it connects, you will see portable device appear on your PC. Select DCIM folder, pictures should apper there. Then select backup!
