Problem with display colors on new S4

The display suddenly changed color last night and I can hardly see the icons on the screen now. I tried powering it off and on, and the color looks normal for a second and then switches to the awful colors. I got the S4 last week and it's my first smartphone.

Is this a defect, or do I need to adjust something? I couldn't find anything on this topic in help or support, and I couldn't find a way to adjust the colors on the phone. Thanks!

User error! I called Tech Support after B33's suggestion didn't work, and somehow I had checked Negative colors under Settings, Accessibility while I was poking around trying to figure out how my new smartphone works.

Thanks for the quick reply, B33, and for the reset instructions. I'm sure I'll need to do that for other glitches down the road.

debx8 Try pulling the Battery and then press the power button for 20 sec. then reinstall the battery and then power up your s4 if the issue is still there then have it replaced..

Well sometimes on suggestion ya hit a Home run then sometime you strike out with a miss.. O well Glad ya got it working again and I posted this for ya.. Have a Great Weekend..
